How do I pay for a booking?

Paying for my rental

All payments are made through the Ruckify platform. We process payments through a secure third-party service known as Stripe.

If a member asks you to pay for the booking outside the platform or says they will only accept cash, please report them to us at letsruckify@ruckify.com. We do not ask you to pay cash at any point. Ruckify is not responsible for any transactions that occur off of our platform, nor will our Protection Plan covers any transactions that occur off of our platform.

When you are going to pay for a booking, you will only have to pay 50% of the booking total to confirm and reserve it when the start date is further than 6 days away. The remaining balance will automatically be processed on the same card used for payment 5 days before your booking start date. 

If your booking start date is less than 5 days away, you will be required to pay 100% of the booking total to confirm and reserve the booking.

Ruckify holds all booking funds in trust until the booking has been completed, at that time we will release the funds to the Owner, less any processing fees, or refunds.
