How do late fees work?

If the Renter fails to return the item at the agreed-upon time, the Renter will be charged 3x the daily rate for each day it is not returned. If the item is not returned within 4 days, it will be escalated to the local authorities. 

Please keep in mind that the item that you have booked can be going out on another booking immediately after you have returned it. So if you are running late, please do your best to notify the Owner so that they can make any necessary adjustments to their plans.
